Q: Can a longer cable be used without affecting performance from outside antenna to the signal booster? 

A: Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately, adding more cable on will effect performance. Try to use low loss cable such as LMR400. 

Q: Is the antenna directional? Will it receive a better signal if pointed toward a cell tower or is it omni-directional?

A: We have both directional and omni-directional antenna. Omni directional antenna can catch multiple cell phone towers signal from all directions but with a less gain. Directional antenna has a higher gain, which is better if your outside signal is not strong enough.
