wireless signal extender for mobile phones
The equipment allows you to get excellent 3G signal reception and high-speed Internet on your cell phone and other mobile devices. With the proper installation of the 3G communication signal amplifier, it is possible to achieve excellent voice communication quality and forget about missed calls forever.
The BS-3G-65 radio equipment is paired with an outdoor and indoor antenna through 5D-FB coaxial cables with a resistance of 50 Ohms. Quality cables guarantee minimal power loss. To force a signal to be attenuated during an overload or loopback, the AT-10 attenuator is used by 10 dB.
The signal level in the installation area of the external antenna of the repeater plays a crucial role in determining the maximum possible coverage area. With a weak signal, the coverage area reaches 50 m2, the average values of the incoming signal guarantee coverage of up to 100 m2, and a good signal from your operator’s base station will allow you to cover a building of up to 200 m2. It should be borne in mind that the complex layout and the presence of load-bearing walls or partitions can reduce the final surface area.

Outside of large cities, the coverage of cellular providers is rapidly weakening, and often in the country house neither 3G, let alone 4G Internet is available at all. Ready-made solutions and kits offered by our store allow you to amplify the 3G / 4G-signal away from the base station of the cellular operator or in the room where the signal does not penetrate well due to the walls and floors. 3G and 4G signal amplifiers provide a stable Internet connection for a modem, router or your mobile device.
3G and 4G cellular signal amplifiers are of two types: passive and active amplification. Passive amplification involves the installation of an external antenna on the roof of a building or a special mast and connecting it to a modem, router or other network device using a coaxial cable. Receiving antennas differ in gain, and the real increase in the speed and quality of mobile Internet primarily depends on this indicator.
Also popular are external 3G / 4G clients that combine the antenna and the router connected to it in one case. Such street routers, combined with antennas, connect to the equipment via a normal twisted pair or USB cable and provide better gain due to the absence of losses on a long coaxial cable.
In turn, active amplification involves the installation of a special amplifier - repeater. A repeater is installed between the external antenna and the end network device and provides additional signal amplification. In case it is necessary to provide 3G / 4G Internet for mobile devices, the output of the router is connected to an indoor antenna that retransmits the cellular signal indoors.
Passive amplification systems are used when there is a reliable input signal at the point of installation of the external antenna, while active amplification is recommended for remote areas where the signal periodically disappears or is caught too weakly.
3G Internet Amplifiers are the most popular solutions since the 3G signal has a fairly large propagation distance. As a rule, the 3G signal can be amplified up to 10 km from the base station.
In turn, 4G LTE Internet signal amplifiers are more often used in cities, since outside the cities of the fourth generation are rare. In addition, the 4G signal uses a higher frequency, because of which it decays faster and is hardly detected by the equipment already at a distance of more than 5 km.
Choosing the best kit to enhance your 3G or 4G cellular internet signal can be a daunting task. If you are not sure which solution is right for you, our store consultants will be happy to help you make the right choice!
How to install the signal booster/repeater/amplifier:
Q: Can a longer cable be used without affecting performance from outside antenna to the signal booster?
A: Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately, adding more cable on will effect performance. Try to use low loss cable such as LMR400.
Q: Is the antenna directional? Will it receive a better signal if pointed toward a cell tower or is it omni-directional?
A: We have both directional and omni-directional antenna. Omni directional antenna can catch multiple cell phone towers signal from all directions but with a less gain. Directional antenna has a higher gain, which is better if your outside signal is not strong enough.
